Job summary

Esri is seeking a Sr. GIS Account Manager – Utilities, Telecom, Rail to drive strategic relationships with large enterprise accounts in the Denver–Louisville region.

You will translate GIS expertise into complex, value-based solutions for electric, gas, telecom, and rail clients, while leading account growth and cross-functional collaboration. You will build and execute location strategies, engage executive stakeholders, and demonstrate strong financial acumen to optimize budgets and procurement

Qualifications

• 5+ years of enterprise sales and/or relevant consulting or program management experience.
• Experience managing the sales cycle with large customers and establishing yourself as a trusted advisor.
• Possess financial and business acumen to build compelling account growth strategies.
• Advanced knowledge of GIS and Esri technology and the ability to translate this into complex solutions for customers.
• Understanding of GIS, Esri technology, and electric, gas, telecom, or rails industries as they relate to one another.
• Expert visual storyteller and negotiator across all levels of an organization.
• Knowledge of industry fiscal year, budgeting, and procurement cycles.
• Ability to travel domestically or internationally 25-50%.
• Bachelor’s degree in GIS, surveying, engineering, business administration, or related field.
