BUNNELL LAMMONS ENGINEERING (BLE) is seeking a highly motivated Project Engineer to lead geotechnical, environmental, and civil projects from conception to completion with a strong emphasis on quality and client satisfaction.

The Geotechnical Group serves municipal, industrial, residential, and commercial clients, performing site investigations, testing oversight, and design support using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GeoStudio, gINT, and Tablogs.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering; licensed PE in SC or reciprocity required or obtainable.
5–12 years of geotechnical engineering and/or materials testing experience; 3+ years in a supervisory role.
Knowledge of geotechnical design, construction, and geosynthetics.
Ability to apply civil/geotechnical engineering principles to design, analysis, and problem solving.
Experience with site investigations, field inspections, and data collection.

Responsibilities

Lead geotechnical investigations including site reconnaissance, drilling oversight, sampling, and field data collection.
Mentor and guide junior engineers, designers, and field staff; delegate tasks and ensure quality.
Maintain strong client relationships and communicate project updates and technical findings clearly.
Ensure quality control across designs, calculations, reports, and drawings; participate in audits.
Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and resource allocation; monitor progress.
