BUNNELL LAMMONS ENGINEERING is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our Geotechnical Group. This role focuses on planning, executing, and closing diverse environmental, geotechnical, and civil projects with emphasis on quality and client satisfaction.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on project engineering experience, strong technical background, and proven leadership. Responsibilities include team guidance, design, reports, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in SC or ability to obtain reciprocity where BLE operates.
Minimum 5–12 years of geotechnical engineering and/or materials testing experience with 3+ years in a supervisory or management role.
Knowledge of geotechnical design and construction requirements.
Knowledge of geosynthetics.
Apply advanced knowledge of civil and geotechnical engineering principles to project design, analysis, and problem-solving.
Conduct technical analyses, calculations, and design for various engineering projects.

Responsibilities

Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and field staff.
Delegate tasks and oversee project team to ensure accuracy and requirements.
Foster a collaborative environment and support professional growth.
Lead geotechnical investigations including site reconnaissance, drilling oversight, sampling, and field data collection.
