Job summary

Bunnell-Lammons Engineering, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to join its multidisciplinary geotechnical team.

This role emphasizes leadership in managing complex geotechnical projects, providing advanced technical guidance, and mentoring junior staff. The Senior Engineer will advance the Construction Materials Testing (CMT) capabilities within the Geotechnical Group, serving municipal, industrial, residential, and commercial clients across the southeastern US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with a geotechnical focus.
• Masters is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert interpretation of analytical data in support of a wide variety of projects.
• Lead geotechnical investigations including site reconnaissance, drilling oversight, sampling, and field data collection. Assign soils laboratory testing.
• Interpret and utilize site data to make decisions to reach project objectives.
• Prepare detailed technical reports, maps, and presentations for clients, regulators, and internal teams.
• Ensure technical accuracy, consistency, and quality in deliverables.
• Act as a technical lead for complex environmental investigations and remediation projects.
