Job summary

Bunnell-Lammons Engineering, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to join our geotechnical team.

This role focuses on managing complex projects, delivering technical leadership, and mentoring junior staff across site investigations and construction materials testing. You will lead investigations, interpret data, prepare detailed reports, and maintain client relations while ensuring regulatory compliance and high-quality deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with geotechnical focus.
• 6-8 years of relevant professional experience.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in SC or NC with ability to expand to other SE states.
• Knowledge of geotechnical design and construction requirements.
• Knowledge of geosynthetics.
• Ability to travel up to 10% for site visits and meetings.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership in geotechnical investigations and data interpretation.
• Lead site reconnaissance, drilling oversight, sampling, and field data collection.
• Prepare detailed technical reports, maps, and client presentations.
• Manage multiple projects, budgets, and schedules.
• Mentor junior staff and support business development.
