A leading company in geotechnical engineering is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to manage diverse projects including highway improvements and renewable energy initiatives. The role involves project management, engineering analyses, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring compliance with safety guidelines. Ideal candidates will hold a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, possess significant experience, and have a PE license.
As a Senior Geotechnical Engineer, you will play a key role in managing exciting and technically challenging projects ranging from major highway improvements to substations, transmission lines, and renewable energy projects. Responsibilities include planning field programs, conducting technical briefings with field staff, and project management tasks including budgeting and client communications. You will also be responsible for performing and overseeing engineering analyses, preparing technical reports, conducting site visits, and overseeing field explorations and construction observations. As a senior engineer, you will mentor and oversee the work of junior staff.
Our estimated salary range for this position in Spokane, WA, is $102,500 - $153,700 annually, based on experience and education. Compensation includes potential bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package, including healthcare, 401(k), insurance, paid time off, and more.
