Geotechnical Senior Engineer, Alternate Delivery

Terracon has a fantastic opportunity to join our growing Alternate Delivery organization, which works on large transportation projects across the US. The position can be filled anywhere within the US.

In this role, you will provide engineering and consulting services for transportation projects, including field investigations, analysis, design, inspections, report writing, and project management. Experience with large-scale transportation projects and project leadership is preferred.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Developing site characterization reports and geotechnical/geological narratives
• Providing geotechnical design recommendations and documentation for earthwork, foundations, and retaining structures
• Performing stability, settlement, and risk analyses
• Managing project teams, overseeing safety, quality, and technical direction
• Coordinating project activities, budgets, and schedules

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Master’s preferred)
• 8-11 years of experience
• PE registration
• Transportation experience with DOTs
• Valid driver’s license

This is a remote-only position with a salary range of $101,200-$156,900, depending on experience and location.
