Job description

Position Overview: The Geotechnical Engineer will be responsible for conducting geotechnical investigations, analyzing soil and foundation conditions, and providing engineering solutions for large-scale civil infrastructure projects, including high-rise buildings, bridges, infrastructure developments, and deep excavations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in geotechnical design, construction support, and site analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform geotechnical site investigations and analyze subsurface conditions.
2. Develop geotechnical engineering solutions for high-rise buildings, bridges, and infrastructure projects.
3. Conduct stability analyses for deep excavations and foundation systems.
4. Prepare technical reports, design recommendations, and geotechnical assessments.
5. Collaborate with civil and structural engineers to integrate geotechnical solutions into overall project designs.
6. Oversee field testing, soil sampling, and laboratory testing programs.
7. Ensure compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards.
8. Provide on-site support during construction phases, addressing geotechnical challenges as they arise.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
2. Experience in geotechnical engineering with a focus on high-rise, bridges, infrastructure, and excavation projects.
3. Proficiency in geotechnical software such as PLAXIS, GeoStudio, L-Pile, or similar.
4. Strong understanding of soil mechanics, foundation engineering, and slope stability.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
6. Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical reporting and client interaction.
7. Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain one.
