Essential Duties and Responsibilities

We foster a collaborative culture emphasizing mentorship, technical excellence, and business development. Responsibilities may include:

• Preparing engineering reports, design calculations, drawings, and permit applications
• Conducting geotechnical analyses such as slope stability, settlement, and seismic assessments
• Reviewing field documentation and laboratory tests for construction materials
• Managing projects and supporting proposals
• Performing geotechnical site characterization and overseeing construction quality assurance
• Managing construction and contractors for large-scale earth structures
• Leading project meetings, updating on construction progress, and resolving issues
• Reviewing contractor submittals, change orders, and RFIs
• Analyzing construction schedules and monitoring project milestones

Education and Licensure

• Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering (required)
• Advanced degree in earth science or related field (preferred)
• Professional registration (e.g., P.E., P.G.) (required)

Skills, Experience, and Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience or equivalent
• Experience managing large civil earthworks and construction projects
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software (e.g., e-Builder)
• Knowledge of geotechnical software such as Slide, gINT, GEO5, PLAXIS, AutoCAD, Civil 3D
• Ability to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and travel as needed
• Excellent communication skills
• Fieldwork up to 100%, including outdoor work and overnight travel, based in Saint Lucie County, FL
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and clean driving record
