Geotechnical Senior Engineer, Alternate Delivery

This position offers the flexibility to work anywhere within the US as part of our growing Alternate Delivery organization, which focuses on large transportation projects across the country.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering and consulting services for transportation projects, including field investigations, analysis, design, and report writing.
• Review drawings and construction to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
• Develop proposals, cost estimates, and track project progress, budgets, and changes.
• Research and resolve design and construction issues.
• Manage laboratory and field data for reports.
• Communicate complex engineering concepts to clients and project teams.
• Lead project management and technical teams on large-scale transportation projects, ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery.

Examples of Work

• Develop site characterization reports.
• Provide geotechnical design recommendations for earthwork, foundations, and retaining structures.
• Perform stability and settlement analyses.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• 8-11 years of experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Transportation experience with DOTs is required.
• Valid driver’s license.

Salary range is $101,200-$156,900, with potential adjustments based on location and experience.
