Job summary

BLE is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineering Consultant to lead the Regional Geotech Group in the Southeast. You will manage client relationships, oversee technical projects, mentor staff, and drive business development.

Requires a PE in SC or NC, 10–25 years of geotechnical experience, and a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering with a geotechnical focus; a Master’s is preferred. Travel up to 10% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a geotechnical focus (required).
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in SC or NC; ability to license in additional SE states within six months.
• 10–25 years of relevant professional geotechnical experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% for site meetings and client development.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior oversight of regional geotechnical projects and client management.
• Mentor staff and project engineers within the geotechnical group.
• Drive business development and cultivate key client relationships.
• Review proposals and project reports to ensure technical excellence and client satisfaction.
• Evaluate new technologies to improve project efficiency and quality.
