Job summary

Bunnell-Lammons Engineering is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to join our Geotechnical Group in the Southeast. You will lead complex geotechnical projects, mentor junior staff, and grow client relationships while ensuring technical excellence across reports and field work.

The role requires a PE in SC or NC with 6–8 years of relevant experience, strong communication, and the ability to travel up to 10% for site meetings and seminars.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with geotechnical focus.
• Masters degree preferred.
• Licensed PE in South Carolina or North Carolina; ability to become licensed in additional southeastern states within six months.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% for site meetings, seminars, and client development.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for geotechnical investigations and projects.
• Direct field operations including drilling oversight, sampling, and logging.
• Prepare detailed technical reports, maps, and client presentations.
• Ensure quality and technical accuracy across deliverables.
• Mentor junior staff and oversee project staffing and resources.
• Stay current with regulations, standards, and geotechnical best practices.
