Job summary

Bunnell Lammons Engineering (BLE) seeks a Senior Geotechnical Engineering Consultant to lead regional geotechnical initiatives, deliver high-quality projects, and manage long-term client relationships.

The role focuses on expanding capabilities for solid waste, mining, and power projects, with travel up to 10% across the southeastern United States. A PE license in SC/NC is required or obtainable within six months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a geotechnical focus.
• 10–25 years of relevant professional experience.
• PE license in SC or NC, with ability to obtain in other SE states within six months.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% for site meetings, marketing, seminars, and client development in the SE US.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical oversight, project management, client management, and business development for the Regional Geotech Group under the Geotechnical Department Manager.
• Mentor and coach staff and project engineers within the geotechnical group.
• Cultivate partnerships with public and private sector stakeholders to drive business growth.
