Bunnell Lammons Engineering (BLE) is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineering Consultant to advance our regional geotech capabilities. You will lead technical projects for long-term clients, mentor staff, and drive business growth across the southeastern US.

The role emphasizes collaboration, innovative problem-solving, and managing complex geotechnical projects from design through site closure, with travel up to 10% and PE licensure in SC/NC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Civil Engineering with geotechnical focus is required.
• 10–25 years of relevant professional experience.
• Licensed Professional Engineer in SC or NC, with ability to expand to SE states.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% for site meetings and client development.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical oversight, project management, client management, and business development for the Regional Geotech Group.
• Mentor and coach staff and project engineers within the geotechnical group.
• Develop strategic partnerships with key public/private sector stakeholders to drive growth.
• Review proposals and participate in business development to identify new revenue streams.
• Review reports to ensure quality and client commitments.
• Adopt new technologies to improve project efficiency and data reporting.
