Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. is seeking an experienced engineer to contribute to the design and development of products, solutions and systems, focusing on technical improvement of existing products and components while ensuring quality, service, and timeliness.

The role requires leading a small to medium team, applying advanced 3D CAD/PLM tools (NX, SolidWorks, Creo), and using strong judgment to guide projects, balance resources, and drive engineering decisions.

Qualifications

At least 8 years of professional experience in technical drafting or design engineering.
Minimum of 4 years in a leadership or team lead capacity.
At least 5 years hands-on experience using 3D CAD/PLM software (NX, SolidWorks, Creo) to develop complex assemblies.

Responsibilities

Create definitions of parts, modules, and assemblies with 2D cross sections and 3D models to support analysis, manufacturing, and inspection.
Manage a small to medium team and influence strategy and resource control.
Interpret business challenges and apply best practices to improve products and processes.
Apply high judgment to solve complex problems across engineering and manufacturing domains.
Lead functional teams or projects with limited resources and communicate complex concepts.
