Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking an experienced design engineer with leadership responsibilities to drive the development of complex assemblies and mechanical systems. You will create parts definitions, 2D/3D models, tolerances, and provide guidance to ensure quality and timely execution.

The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and project-management skills, with experience leading teams and aligning engineering work with strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of professional experience in technical drafting, design engineering, or related manufacturing support.
• Minimum of 4 years in leadership or team lead capacity with project mentoring and deliverables oversight.
• At least 5 years hands-on experience using 3D CAD/PLM software to develop complex assemblies and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Create definitions of parts, modules, and assemblies with 2D/3D models and tolerances to support analysis and manufacturing.
• Lead small to medium teams, influence strategy, manage resources, and guide programs/projects with minimal supervision.
