Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Lead Generator Design Liaison Engineer to drive manufacturability on the Pensacola, FL production floor, interfacing between generator design and manufacturing for 50 Hz and 60 Hz generators.

You will mentor junior engineers and lead resolution of design-to-manufacturing issues while supporting lean initiatives and new product introductions across rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of five (5) years in generator, manufacturing, or liaison roles.
• Strong knowledge of rotor, armature, winding, and lamination processes.
• Ability to read drawings and manufacturing documentation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical interface between design engineering and manufacturing.
• Improve manufacturability while maintaining performance, safety, and cost targets.
• Lead root cause, corrective action, and preventive action efforts.
• Support design changes, lean initiatives, and new product introductions.
• Provide cross-shift technical support on the factory floor.
