Job summary

Integrated Power Services (IPS) is seeking a Generator Field Service Technician to service, repair, and maintain diesel and gas engine‑driven standby generators in the field, keeping residential, commercial, and industrial clients powered.

As we grow, positions span beginner to senior levels with training provided. You will perform preventive maintenance, inspections, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation while traveling locally in company service vehicles to customer sites.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a Technical school in generators, diesel, or power generation.
• Experience in repair or maintenance of generators preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in varying weather conditions.
• Valid, unrestricted driver's license with DOT medical certification.
• Ability to read schematics and operating manuals.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair, and maintain diesel and gas engine-driven standby generators in the field.
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Test load bank, ATS, and function testing.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose generator systems.
• Document reports of the work performed.
• Travel in a company service vehicle across local counties.
