Job summary

IES is seeking a General Superintendent to lead large, complex projects from start to finish, ensuring safety, schedule, budget, and quality. You will act as the operations liaison with customers, manage staffing and resources, drive profitability, and oversee documentation and equipment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in telecommunications or related fields, strong MS Office and MS Project skills, and the ability to read blueprints.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) years' supervisory or managerial experience.
• Minimum of three (3) years' experience as Lead Communications Technician or similar.
• Minimum five (5) years' experience in telecommunications or related field.
• Proficient with computer systems; skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, MS Project).
• Must meet driving standards and be able to travel within territories.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and project documents; manage scope and tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all project personnel including hiring, training, coaching, and performance management.
• Serve as primary contact for customers and maintain client relationships.
• Oversee project schedules, staffing, and resource allocation to ensure timely completion.
• Manage project budgets, profitability, and financial reporting.
• Ensure safety, quality, and compliance with policies and customer requirements.
• Conduct site inspections, quality reviews, and troubleshooting of issues.
