Job summary

IES is seeking a General Superintendent to lead large, complex projects nationwide. This role oversees safety, quality, financial performance, staffing and customer delivery, ensuring effective on-site management and adherence to company standards.

You will recruit and manage project staff, interface with customer representatives, monitor profitability and ensure deadlines. Requires 4–6 years supervisory experience, 3+ years as Lead Communications Technician, 5+ years in telecom/construction,

Qualifications

• Minimum 4–6 years of supervisory or managerial experience.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Lead Communications Technician or similar role.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in telecommunications or related technical/construction field.
• Proficient with a computer and MS Office (Word, Excel and MS Project).
• Must meet Company driving standards.
• Ability to define a project, create a scope, prepare an estimate, and manage tasks to completion.
• Experience with industry trade tools as listed on the job description.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, manage, supervise staff and ensure performance.
• Interface with customer representatives as primary on-site liaison.
• Plan, monitor and maintain project profitability and deadlines.
• Oversee workload distribution, staffing, and on-site progress.
• Review job cost postings, invoices and financial reporting to customers/management.
• Complete all project paperwork accurately and on time; ensure closeout packages meet standards.
• Perform quality checks and enforce safety and quality controls.
