Job summary

Gilbane Building is seeking a General Superintendent to independently manage all field operations on a large rehabilitation project up to $100M. You will be on-site daily, directing trade contractors, managing safety, schedule, and budget, and collaborating with project leadership to deliver the project on time and within scope.

You’ll leverage 10–15 years of experience on sizable projects, apply OSHA 30 andSTS-C certifications, and participate in Gilbane University trainings while coordinating

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent experience.
• 10–15 years of experience on large commercial/industrial construction projects.
• OSHA 30-hour certification.
• STS-C Certification.
• First Aid, CPR, AED, Stop the Bleed training.

Responsibilities

• Directs day-to-day coordination of trade contractors to meet the project schedule.
• Manages project budget for general conditions and site services.
• Develops and communicates field work plans and changes.
• Maintains understanding of contract documents to anticipate issues.
• Leads safety program in the field and enforces safety compliance.
• Plans jobsite logistics and coordinates with subcontractors and owners.
• Maintains daily reports and project schedules; supports contingency plans.
