Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required and extensive claim and/or legal experience.
• Advanced knowledge in coverage, contract interpretation, liability and damages analysis.
• Ability to decide independently on most assigned cases.

Responsibilities

• Directly handles assigned severity claims and provides timely coverage analysis.
• Consults with Manager on use of Claim Coverage Counsel as needed.
• Investigates claims with appropriate parties to determine liability, damages, and contribution.
• Maintains claim files and diarizes activities per procedures.
• Develops litigation plans and manages costs with counsel when applicable.
• Applies quality management protocols and best practices to all claims.
