Job summary

Travelers is seeking an experienced GL claims professional to investigate, evaluate, reserve and negotiate complex claims. The role involves serving as an expert resource, leading litigation plans with counsel, and ensuring high-quality customer service and file integrity throughout the claim lifecycle.

Ideal candidates will have 5–7 years of bodily injury litigation experience, deep coverage and damages knowledge, and the ability to educate and mentor others while handling high-stakes

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; 5-7 years bodily injury litigation claim handling experience.
• Extensive knowledge of coverage, liability and damages analysis; strong litigation management skills.
• Advanced ability to research, analyze and apply complex policy language.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and evaluate assigned severe claims; determine liability and damages.
• Develop and implement litigation plans with counsel; manage discovery and legal expenses.
• Communicate with insureds, policyholders, witnesses and other stakeholders to obtain statements and information.
• Maintain timely file quality, reserves and adherence to quality standards.
