Job summary

Travelers is seeking a Claim Representative, General Liability, to manage low-to-moderate complexity injury and/or property damage claims from notice to resolution. You will assess coverage, liability, and damages, establish reserves, and ensure timely payments with professionalism and empathy.

You will work with customers, claimants, attorneys, and vendors, providing clear communication while maintaining accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; liability experience preferred.
• Active adjuster license required where state law requires.
• Experience with claims management systems and enterprise technology platforms.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to convey information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Manage an active caseload of injury and/or property damage claims from first notice of loss through resolution.
• Investigate information to determine coverage and liability; establish reserves.
• Provide timely and professional communication to customers, counsel, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Negotiate settlements within authority and issue payments accurately and timely.
• Maintain records in claim management systems and adapt to technology rollouts.
