Qualifications

• 7+ years building and running production systems.
• Strong engineering fundamentals; production-scale focus.
• Experience with LLM APIs (Anthropic, AWS Bedrock, or OpenAI).
• Hands-on cloud-native delivery (containers, ECS/Kubernetes, IaC, CI/CD).
• Proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript.

Responsibilities

• Sit with the client and the Forward Deployed Executive at the start of an engagement and redesign the function from first principles.
• Reach working fluency in a new domain (insurance underwriting, healthcare revenue cycle, asset flow).
• Design and ship production GenAI systems in the customer's environment; implement and optimize RAG systems.
• Build the evaluation harness before features; define metrics and drive design with evals.
• Write production code across AI, backend, and data pipelines; select tools to fit the customer.
• Deploy systems to production on AWS (or GCP/Azure) with containers, CI/CD, tests, monitoring.
• Start from blueprint; feed lessons learned to next engagement.
• Lead architecture reviews, produce design docs, mentor engineers, share knowledge.
• Work with a FDX; measure success against BU KPIs.
• Own technical direction of proposals and scoping; drive adoption and change management.
• Be credible with client engineers and executives.
• Shape commitments before we commit.
