Job summary

Provectus is seeking a Forward Deployed AI Engineer to embed with clients and ship production-grade AI solutions. You will learn client domains by doing actual work in the operator’s seat, then redesign processes from first principles while owning the outcome.

You will ship GenAI/LLM systems to production, work with Claude Code/Cowork, and engage senior stakeholders in redesign conversations, all while maintaining strong engineering fundamentals and cloud-native delivery on AWS.

Qualifications

• 8+ years building software, with a substantial share of production code you were accountable for.

Responsibilities

• 8+ years building software with production code responsibility.
• Take the operator’s seat and spend weeks doing a colleague’s job before coding.
• Learn domains quickly and become conversant in an unfamiliar business function.
• Shipped GenAI/LLM systems to production, not just demos.
• You have built or owned an eval suite for non-deterministic systems and can explain measurements.
• Strong engineering fundamentals; Python and/or TypeScript proficiency; depth over stack.
• Cloud-native delivery on AWS; containers, Kubernetes, IaC, CI/CD; understood the operational reality.
