Baker Tilly is seeking a GAAP Compilation Senior Consultant for our Public Sector group to serve state and local governments and related entities across the United States. You will oversee GAAP compilations, reporting, agreed-upon procedures, and special projects.

Lead staff, advise on improvements, and build strong client relationships while contributing to recruiting efforts and professional development.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting; CPA preferred.
• Minimum three (3) years of experience providing attest services.
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP, GAAS and PCAOB Auditing Standards.

Aufgaben

• Oversee day-to-day activities of U.S. GAAP compilations and reporting, agreed-upon procedures, and special projects.
• Identify accounting, financial statement and reporting issues based on professional guidelines.
• Provide recommendations for business and process improvements based on client operations.
• Proactively build relationships and communicate effectively with the client.
• Supervise and lead staff through guidance and coaching; evaluate performance.
• Invest in professional development via training sessions and networking events.
• Assist with recruiting activities including campus recruiting and referrals.
• Demonstrate excellent team skills, positive attitude and high ethical standards.
• Travel is limited but may be required.
