Job summary

Baker Tilly is seeking a GAAP Compilation Senior Consultant to join our Public Sector group, serving state and local governments across the United States. In this role you will oversee day-to-day GAAP compilations and related reporting, including agreed-upon procedures and special projects.

You will identify accounting and reporting issues, provide improvement recommendations, and build strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required; CPA preferred.
• Master's or advanced degree desired.
• CPA preferred credential.
• Minimum three years of professional attest services experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, GAAS and PCAOB standards.
• Excellent communication and client service skills; MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily U.S. GAAP compilations and related reporting.
• Identify issues in financial statements and reporting.
• Provide recommendations to improve client processes.
• Build and maintain client relationships for superior service.
• Supervise staff and evaluate engagements.
• Participate in recruiting activities and campus recruiting.
• Engage in training and professional development.
• Travel is limited but may be required.
