Job summary

Happy Cog is seeking an analytics specialist to own measurement end to end, designing and implementing GA4 and GTM setups, building data pipelines and dashboards behind them, and turning data into actionable client recommendations.

This hands-on role involves writing dataLayer specs, QA, debugging, and SQL querying, plus presenting insights to non-technical clients while collaborating with cross-functional teams across multiple client accounts.

Qualifications

• Deep GA4 and GTM implementation experience, including event architecture and server-side tagging.
• Fluency with dataLayer design and specification.
• Comfort in JavaScript and SQL for querying and transformation.
• Experience building data pipelines and warehousing with BigQuery or equivalent.
• Dashboards in Looker Studio, Tableau, and/or Power BI that drive decisions.
• Experience running CRO programs with A/B and multivariate testing tools.
• Strong communication to explain technical findings to non-technical clients.
• Agency experience managing multiple client accounts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing GA4 and GTM measurement setups for clients.
• Writing clean dataLayer specifications and QA against live containers.
• Diagnosing tracking issues end to end and debugging broken tags.
• Building data pipelines and warehousing strategies across multiple clients.
• Building and maintaining dashboards in Looker Studio, Tableau, and/or Power BI.
• Strategizing and running Conversion Rate Optimization programs with rigorous testing.
• Analyzing web and behavioral data to find drop-offs and derive recommendations.
• Supporting new business by drafting proposal language and scoping analytics work.
