Job summary

Apex seeks a diligent Fund Administrator to coordinate a range of administrative tasks, asset setup, maintenance, and reconciliation for private equity funds. You will liaise with brokers, custodians, and agents, process notices, and help with corporate actions and reporting.

The role emphasizes accuracy, deadline orientation, and the ability to manage complex accounting structures. A CPA/MBA or equivalent is a plus, with strong interpersonal skills and a self-starter attitude.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance required.
• Knowledge of Fund Administration and Private Equity Funds.
• CPA/MBA/Master’s Degree is an advantage.
• Ability to work towards and meet agreed deadlines.
• Paxus, Geneva, Investran , eFront or Allvue experience would be an advantage.
• Prior experience with incentive fees, waterfall distributions, allocations, financial statements and/or subsequent closes is a plus.
• Highly organized and motivated individual with an acute attention to detail.
• Self-starter who volunteers for new opportunities and projects.
• Ability to manage complex accounting structures.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Performing and coordinating a variety of administrative duties and tasks including asset setup, asset maintenance and reconciliation.
• Liaising with 3rd party brokers/custodians/agents; processing agent notices and corporate actions.
• Entering and settling trades as required; preparing and assisting with various internal reports.
• Cash/position reconciliation, daily cash transaction reconciliation, and reconciliation of Apex/Client positions.
• Addressing aged breaks (over 7 days) and escalating as needed.
• Researching discrepancies with agents and internal teams; ensuring reporting is issued on time.
• Developing relationships with Clients to meet their needs and coordinating with internal teams to achieve targets.
• Support for Middle Office Manager: delegating duties and roll-out training for staff.
