Job summary

Apex Group is seeking a seasoned leader to oversee client service teams in fund accounting, including private equity fund administration. You will drive staffing, process control, and timely delivery across multiple locations in the US.

Ideal candidates bring 15+ years of experience, CPA is desirable, and exceptional communication and leadership skills to manage complex financial workpapers and client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 15+ years of investment fund accounting experience including private equity fund administration.
• Demonstrated leadership skills managing accounting teams.
• Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Direct overall management of assigned client service teams with focus on process control and confidentiality.
• Lead and develop a team across multiple locations (≈10 professionals).
• Develop full project plans and manage client workloads to meet timetables.
• Review financial statements and accounting workflows for compliance and accuracy.
• Serve as a primary client-facing representative and build strong client relationships.
