Job summary

Apex Group Ltd is seeking an experienced Fund Accountant to oversee accounting and client service for Private Equity fund clients. The role includes managing general ledger, payroll, tax compliance, and financial reporting in a fast-paced, globally coordinated environment.

Responsibilities cover month-end close, cash management, and internal controls, with a focus on GAAP compliance. Four days in office are required, and a discretionary annual bonus is offered based on performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; 3+ years related experience.
• At least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• CPA or MBA is a plus.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and analytical skills.
• Proficiency with Excel and accounting software.
• Excellent written and oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage all accounting operations for assigned client entities, including general ledger, accounts payable, payroll, project accounting, fixed assets, cash management, and tax compliance.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ensuring GAAP and regulatory compliance.
• Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports with analysis of key metrics.
• Oversee month-end and year-end close, reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Maintain ledgers, bank reconciliations, and tax-related reports.
• Establish, implement, and enhance internal controls and financial systems for efficiency and compliance.
• Manage cash flow activities, including wire transfers and banking relations.
• Support audits, regulatory reviews, and tax compliance activities.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead special projects.
