Job summary

Apex Group seeks a senior fund accounting leader to manage client service teams across multiple US locations. You will oversee workflow, confidentiality, and adherence to accounting & reporting standards.

The role requires 15+ years in investment fund accounting (private equity preferred), strong leadership, and the ability to deliver complex financial statements, capital calls, and allocations to clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field; CPA or advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 15+ years of investment fund accounting experience, including private equity fund administration.
• Strong leadership and team management experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage complex client relationships and projects.

Responsibilities

• Direct overall management of assigned client service teams across multiple locations.
• Ensure adherence to Apex process control procedures and data confidentiality.
• Develop and lead a team of ~10 professionals, fostering collaboration and high performance.
• Plan and manage client workloads to meet timetables and deadlines.
• Identify inefficiencies and drive procedural or tech enhancements.
• Review financial statements and ensure GAAP compliance.
• Oversee capital calls, management fees, allocations, and distributions.
