Job summary

Apex Group Ltd is seeking a qualified professional to join its real estate private equity accounting team in the United States. You will review daily journal entries across cash, investments, and investor activity, and track capital calls and distributions to investors.

You will prepare monthly and quarterly workpapers and financial statements, assist with ad hoc reporting, and help onboard new entities and investors in the accounting system, coordinating with clients, auditors, and tax

Qualifications

• Professional Degree in Accounting; CPA a plus.
• 5+ years of Private Equity experience in fund admin, funds, or audit.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Detail oriented, organized, and adaptable to changing priorities.
• Experience supervising junior staff.
• Involves real estate private equity fund accounting experience preferred but not required.
• Investran experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review daily journal entries for cash, investment, and investor activity in real estate private equity funds.
• Track capital calls and distributions to investors.
• Prepare/review monthly and quarterly trial balance workpapers.
• Prepare/review financial statements and partner capital statements.
• Assist with ad hoc reporting and investor requests.
• Assist onboarding of new entities, investments, and investors in accounting system.
• Coordinate between client, auditors, and tax providers to close year-end requirements.
• Engage in ad hoc consulting projects and data-conversion tasks.
• Complete special projects as needed.
