MO is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support the Department of Veterans Affairs, modernizing eligibility and enrollment systems used by millions. You will design, build, test, and maintain enterprise Java applications, leveraging Java 17+, Spring Boot, and related technologies.

You will collaborate with architects, resolve complex issues, and contribute to CI/CD, automated testing, and deployments. Requires 5–8 years of experience, strong Java/Spring skills, and relevant gov't or

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree required in CS/SE or related field.
• 5–8 years of software development experience in professional environments.
• Strong experience with Java 17+ and Spring Boot for backend services.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise Java applications
• Analyze and resolve complex software defects and production issues
• Support enhancements and sustainment for applications using Java, Spring Framework, Struts, JSP, EJB, JMS, WebLogic, Hibernate, Oracle
• Collaborate with architects and senior developers on modernization initiatives
• Develop and optimize SQL queries and database integrations
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers
• Contribute to automated testing, CI/CD processes, and deployments
