MO is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support the Department of Veterans Affairs, modernizing eligibility and enrollment systems for millions of Veterans and families. You will design, develop, and maintain enterprise Java apps, work with Spring Boot, Oracle DB, and REST APIs, and contribute to CI/CD and testing in a fully remote US-based role.

The role requires 5–8 years of software development experience, strong Java/Spring skills, and a track record in Agile environments.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5–8 years of software development experience in professional environment.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java development.
• Hands-on experience developing REST APIs and web services.
• Experience with Spring Framework and/or Spring Boot.
• Experience working with Oracle or other relational databases.
• Experience using Git-based source control.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise Java applications.
• Analyze and resolve complex software defects and production issues.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries and database integrations.
• Collaborate with architects and senior developers on modernization initiatives.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.
• Contribute to automated testing, CI/CD processes, and application deployments.
