Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 9+ years of software engineering experience.
• Expert-level experience developing modern web applications using React and Ruby on Rails.
• Designing RESTful APIs and integrating distributed services.
• Cloud-native development, preferably AWS.
• Experience using Datadog for monitoring and performance analysis.
• Strong understanding of architecture, testing strategies, CI/CD, and modern practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Tier 4 Public Trust or higher.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design and implementation of complex full-stack applications.
• Plan and execute technical roadmaps with minimal guidance.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and client stakeholders throughout the SDLC.
• Translate ambiguous business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Improve system reliability, maintainability, and performance through refactoring and automation.
• Build secure, accessible, and resilient applications using best practices.
• Present technical concepts and tradeoffs to diverse audiences.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews and guidance.
