Job summary

Accretive Technology Group is seeking Mid-Level to Senior Full-Stack Software Engineers for a remote-based role focused on backend excellence. You will design, build, deploy, and maintain scalable services supporting member accounts, collaborating with Product and Operations across the lifecycle.

The role emphasizes architecture, code quality, and Agile delivery, with a strong culture of learning and teamwork, in a fully remote setup across select US states.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong experience with TypeScript and Node.js.
• Experience with MariaDB, MySQL, or another relational database.
• Competent with PHP.
• Experience with application and system design and architecture.
• Proficiency with Git and version control platforms such as GitHub or Bitbucket.
• Experience with containerization and container orchestration technologies.
• Experience with event-driven architecture.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, JUnit, or similar).
• Experience delivering software in an iterative environment using Agile methodologies.
• Self-driven problem solver with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
• Strong collaborator who believes software development is a team sport.
• Lifelong learner who embraces new technologies and freely shares knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Contribute across the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, deployment, and maintenance
• Design and build scalable, reliable back-end applications and services
• Contribute to application and system architecture, technical design, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Develop solutions that are maintainable, scalable, and aligned with business needs
• Work closely with Product and Operations to deliver sustainable, scalable solutions
• Elevate engineering best practices through code reviews, mentoring, and innovation
• Collaborate with fellow engineers to share knowledge, solve technical challenges, and improve development processes
