Capital One is seeking a Senior Manager, Full-stack Engineer-People Leader to guide a portfolio of modern microservices and full‑stack platforms. You will mentor engineers, drive technical strategy, and partner with product and architecture leaders to shape multi‑year roadmaps while delivering cloud-based solutions that empower millions of Americans.

In Risk Tech, you’ll lead diverse teams, ensure delivery of large-scale initiatives, and foster a collaborative, inclusive engineering culture.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field.
At least 6 years of software engineering experience.
At least 3 years of experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
At least 3 years of people management experience.
Sponsoring employment authorization may be available.

Responsibilities

Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers with deep experience in distributed microservices and full-stack systems.
Mentor engineers and influence technical strategy while collaborating with product managers.
Deliver cloud-based solutions that drive experiences for millions of customers.
Lead teams using Java, Scala, Python, Go, Node.js, and related technologies with containers and AWS services.
Drive multi-year roadmaps and leadership development across teams.
