Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Senior Manager, Full-stack Engineer to lead a portfolio of high-impact technology projects. You will guide a team of developers with expertise in distributed microservices and full stack systems, delivering cloud-based solutions that empower millions of customers.

You will mentor engineers, shape technical strategy, and collaborate with product managers and platform leaders to define roadmaps and investments for long-term success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related quantitative field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 6 years in software engineering; minimum 3 years in leadership.
• 3+ years with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) or virtualization.
• 3+ years of people management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of technology projects and a developers' team with experience in distributed microservices and full-stack systems.
• Mentor engineering talent and drive major technology transformations across Capital One.
• Collaborate with product managers and deliver cloud-based solutions for millions of customers.
• Define multi-year technology roadmaps and investment priorities with stakeholders.
• Lead multiple Agile teams, ensuring delivery of large-scale programs.
• Drive end-to-end design of high-reliability cloud-native systems.
