Job summary

Capital One seeks a Senior Manager, Full-stack Engineer-People Leader to guide a portfolio of diverse tech projects and lead high-performing teams across distributed microservices and full-stack systems. You will mentor engineers, drive technical strategy, and collaborate with product managers to deliver scalable cloud-based solutions for financial empowerment.

You will lead multi-year roadmaps, scale leadership across teams, and ensure delivery of large-scale initiatives with high reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Engineering)
• At least 6 years of experience in software engineering (Internship experience does not apply)
• At least 3 years of experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies
• At least 3 years of people management experience
