Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related quantitative field.
• At least 6 years of software engineering experience.
• At least 3 years of experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• At least 3 years of people management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers with deep experience in distributed microservices and full stack systems.
• Mentor engineers, stay current with tech trends, and contribute to code reviews as needed.
• Collaborate with product managers to deliver cloud-based solutions for millions of Americans.
• Lead teams using Java, Scala, Python, Go, Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, and manage databases and containers.
• Guide multiple Agile engineering teams, set strategic direction, and ensure delivery of large-scale initiatives.
• Partner with leadership to define multi-year technology roadmaps and priorities.
• Develop and manage Lead Engineers and succession plans to grow leadership across teams.
• Align engineering work with enterprise goals and drive portfolio-level decisions.
• Drive end-to-end design of large-scale, cloud-native systems with high reliability.
