Job summary

Capital One National Association is seeking a Senior Manager, Full-stack Engineer-People Leader to guide a portfolio of high-impact technology projects and diverse engineering teams.

You will mentor engineers, define multi-year roadmaps, and collaborate with product and architecture leaders to deliver cloud-native systems that scale across risk management domains and enable financial empowerment for customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field
• 6+ years of experience in software engineering
• 3+ years of people management experience
• 3+ years of experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) or virtualization technologies
• Experience leading multi-team engineering programs and roadmaps

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and teams with experience in distributed microservices and full-stack systems.
• Mentor engineering talent and engage in internal/external tech communities.
• Collaborate with product managers and deliver cloud-based solutions for large user bases.
• Lead multiple Agile engineering teams, defining strategic direction and ensuring large-scale delivery.
• Develop and manage Lead Engineers, building succession plans and scaling leadership.
