As an experienced engineer, you will own critical platform components, refactor legacy services, and mentor teammates in Reykjavik and New York while driving architectural improvements and product delivery.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Hands-on full stack capability with leadership experience.
• Experience in production systems prioritizing correctness and stability.
• Ability to work across time zones with an international team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical execution of full stack development across internal tools and platform features.
• Contribute hands-on across backend and frontend development.
• Take ownership of refactoring and restructuring existing services and workflows.
• Drive improvements in architecture, maintainability, and development practices.
• Mentor developers and build a stronger engineering team in Reykjavik and New York.
• Collaborate across a distributed team to ensure smooth execution across time zones.
• Maintain high standards for performance, reliability, and security in production systems.
• Handle additional projects and responsibilities as assigned.
