Sydecar is hiring Senior Software Engineers to help shape the future of private markets. You will design and deliver full‑stack TypeScript solutions (React + NestJS) and lead projects from concept to deployment in a hybrid environment (San Francisco or New York City).

You’ll mentor engineers, drive architecture discussions, and collaborate with product, design, and operations to build fast, reliable tools that accelerate deal execution.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of software engineering experience in modern OOP languages.
• Proven track record shipping well-tested, user-facing features in fast-paced environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to design scalable systems.
• Takes ownership of work and communicates clearly to deliver high-quality results.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers and contributing to a collaborative team culture.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver full-stack solutions in TypeScript (React + NestJS).
• Lead projects from concept to deployment, balancing speed and scalability.
• Write tests and maintain a high-quality codebase using React Testing Library and Playwright.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a healthy team culture.
• Participate in architecture reviews, tech design sessions, and product ideation.
• Collaborate with product, design, and operations.
