Job summary

Brillio is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to design, build, and scale customer-facing platforms. You will work across frontend and backend, delivering end-to-end solutions using modern web tech, cloud-native services, APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.

The ideal candidate combines strong fundamentals, a product mindset, and the ability to solve complex technical problems in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Hybrid work in New York area preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of production-grade full-stack development experience.
• Strong frontend with React/TypeScript/JS and reusable UI components.
• Backend experience with Go/Java/Python/Node.js.
• Experience building APIs and services using REST, gRPC, or Thrift.
• Experience with AWS, Docker, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of distributed systems, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and performance optimization.
• Experience with testing: Jest, Cypress, and UI testing frameworks.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams and mentoring others.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable full-stack apps across frontend, backend, APIs, and databases.
• Develop solutions using React, TS, Go, Java, Python, and Node.js.
• Build and enhance RESTful APIs, gRPC/Thrift, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Participate in architecture reviews, design discussions, and code reviews.
• Promote best practices in testing, security, observability, and CI/CD.
• Write unit/integration/UI tests (Cypress, Jest).
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve reliability and UX.
• Contribute to AWS cloud infrastructure and deployment automation.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, designers, and engineers.
• Mentor junior/mid engineers and communicate decisions clearly.
• Lead complex initiatives from planning to delivery across time zones.
