Job summary

Ares Management is seeking an Associate Vice President, Senior Full Stack Engineer to advance the design, development, and delivery of technology powering the firm's global credit investment platform.

The role is hands-on, reporting to the Credit Engineering Lead, and involves building scalable applications, APIs, data services, and platform capabilities across the credit lifecycle, including deal origination, underwriting, and portfolio monitoring.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or related field is required.
• 5–8 years of software engineering experience delivering enterprise applications.
• Experience delivering in financial services or credit investments preferred.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support scalable software solutions for credit workflows.
• Contribute across front-end, back-end, integration, and data layers.
• Build and maintain APIs, services, and user-facing applications.
• Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and production support.
• Help drive architecture, platform modernization, and engineering best practices.
