Job summary

Ares Management Corporation is seeking an Analyst, Software Engineer to join the Credit Technology Engineering team in New York. You will contribute to developing and supporting technology powering the firm's global credit investment platform.

You will work with senior engineers to build applications, APIs, data services, and platform capabilities across deal origination, underwriting, monitoring, risk management, and analytics, while learning enterprise development, cloud-native practices, and

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or related field required.
• 0-2 years of software engineering experience.
• Academic/internship/co-op experience in software development preferred.
• Experience collaborating with engineers, product managers, or teams preferred.
• No strict requirement for financial services experience; interest in credit tech is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop software features under guidance of senior engineers.
• Contribute to front-end and back-end development and APIs.
• Build and maintain APIs, services, and user-facing applications for investment workflows.
• Write clean, maintainable code following engineering standards.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment support.
• Assist with debugging, production support, and documentation of app functionality.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders.
