Ares Management Corporation in New York seeks an Associate Vice President, Senior Full Stack Engineer to design, develop, and deliver technology solutions powering the firm’s global credit platform. You will work hands-on across front-end, back-end, data, and API layers, partnering with Credit Engineering and product teams to enable scalable, secure, and resilient investment workflows.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
• 5–8 years software engineering experience delivering enterprise applications.
• Experience operating within Agile software development organizations.
• Experience mentoring developers or providing technical leadership across initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on software engineering across front-end, backend, integration, and data layers; build and maintain APIs and services.
• Partner with VP on architecture, system design, and technology decisions; contribute to roadmaps and modernization.
• Develop capabilities across credit deal management, portfolio management, analytics, and reporting platforms.
• Build cloud-native applications using Kubernetes and cloud services; enable observability and reliability.
• Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and design feedback; collaborate with product and business stakeholders.
