Job summary

Ares Management in New York seeks an Associate, Full Stack Engineer to contribute to design, development, testing, deployment, and support of technology solutions powering the firm’s credit investment platform.

You will work with senior engineers on design, implementation, code quality, and production support, focusing on scalable, maintainable applications using Java, React, and modern data services across deal origination to investment analytics.

Qualifications

BS in Computer Science or related field required.
2-4 years of software engineering experience.
Experience with full-stack development in enterprise environments.
Experience participating in software delivery throughout the lifecycle.
Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
Experience collaborating with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders.
Financial services, lending, credit, or asset management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, deploy, and support software solutions powering credit investment workflows.
Contribute across front-end, back-end, integration, and data-layer development activities.
Build and maintain APIs, services, and user-facing applications for investment workflows.
Write clean, maintainable, tested code aligned with engineering standards.
Participate in code reviews, design reviews, troubleshooting, and production support activities.
